Monday!

It's Monday! I hope you had a great day in the Word on Sunday. Not only is it Monday, but this week is the LAST week of our enrollment campaign. If my counts are right, we are 3 away from our goal of enrolling 14. If you know someone, this is the week to call or visit them and ask them to enroll. Remember, you don't have to enroll the in our class, just in any Small Group class.

That also means that Sunday is 'The Wonder of It All' Sunday, and we need EVERYONE to be there. Plan ahead. Iron those clothes on Saturday night!

We had two visitors from out of town on Sunday. If you would like their contact information, just email or call me.

Cecila and Shea are going visiting in Lauderdale County today. Pray for them, that God would give an open door of sharing the love of Christ.

Miscellaneous Matters...

I thought I would put up a collection of little reminders...

First, be praying and looking for people to enroll in Small Group. We are half way to our goal, but time is ticking. Remember, this is not church membership, but it does make them a member of a Bible study. Remember our verse from Sunday, "an hour is coming and NOW IS."

Secondly, we have Visitation again this week. Come and go with us as we go as His ambassadors.

Thirdly, ask yourself today, "Who is on my heart? Who keeps coming to my mind? What's going on in their life?" Once you have the answers - ACT! Reach out, encourage with the Word, give a small 'just thinking of you' gift. Ladies, that's ministry. How do I know? Because the lost are selfish and self-consumed. If you have compassion for another - it's from God. So go, in His name, and share His love! And don't forget to give Him the glory!

News You Can Use!

We have a special need for prayer. Jana M's son, Tucker, is in Children's Hospital with his reoccuring GI track issues. Pray for Jana, her husband Chris, and Tucker as they await the doctor's results.

Also, you have until Sunday, October 12th to bring your household goods for Jennifer and her family. Jennifer's son went to the hospital for his pre-op last Friday and the doctors discovered a large cyst which they went ahead and removed. For now he will not need the valve replacement surgery. So our box of blessings can be some good news for this single mom as she has had quite a week!

I will see you Sunday!

Visitation Tonight!

I hope you can make it to Visitation tonight! We have been blessed for the last two weeks to be able to enroll 5 people on Visitation. Remember, if you have a prospect you would like to visit, we're there! We'll be back by 8:00!

Who Do You Know?

Put your thinking caps on and see if you can think of anyone in your life who needs the Lord. Just quickly run through the people you see every week, the people in your family, or the people who live in your neighborhood.

Whoever you come up with....is a prospect. We are looking for prospects to visit - this week- on Visitation. Last week we were able to enroll a mother and her daughter who was a first cousin of the husband of one of our members! Who do you know that needs the Lord? Do the loving thing and make them a prospect. They do not have to be a prospect for our class.

Get the gears turning and see who you can come up with.

Happy Saturday!

Aren't Saturdays fun? For me they usually involve housecleaning, laundry and grocery shopping -- but if you are woman who spends a lot of time outside of her home those things are fun! I especially like Saturdays because it's a different schedule. There's time for an extra cup of coffee....yum., and you get to work in your pajamas. Can't beat that!
Today, I think I've arranged the schedule where I don't have to go ANYWHERE! Woo hoo.
An update from Wednesday night - we got to enroll two people. Kerri and her daughter Kylie! They are relatives of Amanda, and it was very nice to meet Kerrie. I am praying that she will join us soon.
Have you collected any blessings for Jennifer (see Ministy Opp post)? I found some paper towels on sale. Bring what you've got!
I'm praying for our lesson on Sunday. It's one of those famous passages of Jesus' healing - John 5:1-24. I hope to see you there.

Let's Go!

Tonight is Visitation! I hope you will join us as we take the Gospel to our community. We have some great prospective visits, and we need as many people on our team as we can get!

Are you tired, and thinking I just can't make it. Let me be the first one to tell you, it is ENERGIZING to be about the work of the Kingdom. It's great fellowship time, and that refueling we need midweek.

We always try to be back by 8:00, and if you need to be back earlier, we will put you on a Quick Trip team.

See you there!
