The Dentons

On Sunday, February 1st we will take up a love gift for this family. Please look for opportunities this week to forego something and put the money toward our gift. Amanda will take the money we collect and buy the family a Walmart gift card so they will have the option to use it how it is most needed, including gas if necessary.

And before you bring your gift, please pray for this family. You can even let them hear from you through the site above. What an expression of God's love to them it will be when strangers care enough to pray and give!

The Lord has blessed us with a new addition each of the last two weeks! What a blessing to meet Teresa Owings and Cassie White!

We're Back!

It was so nice to be back in class --and to see everyone's face--after the holidays! It just feels so right to be with the people of God. It was a wonderful time of examining the Word together in class, and then Bro. Jeff preached two incredibly powerful messages. Thank you Lord for a pastor who unashamedly proclaims truth to a wicked and perverse generation!

The Holy Spirit in me was screaming, "AMEN!"

We also welcomed a new class member, Teresa Owings! She's new to our class and our country. I have her contact information if you would like to call or email me. She doesn't know many people here, and the Lord has given us the privilege of welcoming her with HIS love.

Sunday we continue in John. Chapter 14 is packed full of profound promises. I hope that you will be there.

Back on Track!

Well, we have had our two weeks off, and all the hustle and bustle of the Holidays is behind us--so it's time to get back on track!

We will be back in Small Groups this Sunday, studying John Chapter 13. I am praying now that we will all be able to be there and study the Word together.

Sorry that I've been A.W.O.L. this week. It has been a busy one! Don't forget we have our progressive dinner Monday! We will meet in the Fellowship Hall parking lot at 6:15!

And don't forget about Christ! He's the reason we celebrate! Take/Make time for HIM! Everything else is meaningless without Him!
