Happy Saturday!

Aren't Saturdays fun? For me they usually involve housecleaning, laundry and grocery shopping -- but if you are woman who spends a lot of time outside of her home those things are fun! I especially like Saturdays because it's a different schedule. There's time for an extra cup of coffee....yum., and you get to work in your pajamas. Can't beat that!
Today, I think I've arranged the schedule where I don't have to go ANYWHERE! Woo hoo.
An update from Wednesday night - we got to enroll two people. Kerri and her daughter Kylie! They are relatives of Amanda, and it was very nice to meet Kerrie. I am praying that she will join us soon.
Have you collected any blessings for Jennifer (see Ministy Opp post)? I found some paper towels on sale. Bring what you've got!
I'm praying for our lesson on Sunday. It's one of those famous passages of Jesus' healing - John 5:1-24. I hope to see you there.

Let's Go!

Tonight is Visitation! I hope you will join us as we take the Gospel to our community. We have some great prospective visits, and we need as many people on our team as we can get!

Are you tired, and thinking I just can't make it. Let me be the first one to tell you, it is ENERGIZING to be about the work of the Kingdom. It's great fellowship time, and that refueling we need midweek.

We always try to be back by 8:00, and if you need to be back earlier, we will put you on a Quick Trip team.

See you there!

Ministry Opp!

We currently have two ministry opportunites:
1. When the Glass family moves, (latest word is that it may be Oct. 15th) we will provide sandwiches for the moving crew.

2. Shea shared with us about a 10 year old boy who is going to have to have heart valve surgery. His mother is a single mom, and we are gathering non food items for the home to help alleviate the burden she will face being off work and at the hospital. Suggestions include laundry detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, etc. If you would like to help, pick up something extra the next time you are at Walmart. If we each grab something for the next two weeks, we should have quite a bounty to bless this family.

Class News

Sunday was a great day to be in the house of the Lord. Matt Fowler preached two great practical messages. If you missed them, you can listen online at www.gracelifeshoals.org.

In class we had Maleah home from Arkansas! We were missing a few of you, so please let me know if you have illness, etc. in the family. We want to be praying for you!

We have Visitation again this week. Let Cecilia know if you are definitely going to be there so we can organize our groups. cecilia.davis@lcschools.com
